Company

Securicard was founded in Geneva in 1994 to satisfy a need felt by the Managing Director at that time. Often on the road he sought to develop a solution that would allow him to block all credit cards with a single phone call if they were lost or stolen.

Today, Securicard is the most experienced operator in the area of card blocking services and recognized as such by all card issuers in Switzerland. Securicard continues to be at the leading edge of advances made in data protection.

Organization

Customer service is available from 5 customer representatives serving customers in Switzerland's national languages and in English. A system of outsourcing enables Swiss banks to be reachable 24 hours a day. Securicard processes some 1,500 blocking requests per year and serves 100,000 customers. Securicard SA is a joint stock company with principal offices in Lausanne. Managing directors are André Graeppi and Marita Gotti Haupts.
